CIM Base Camp: A New Training and Conference Format
CIM Base Camp – Training and Conference Programs
Redacción CIM Tax & Legal
On October 27, we celebrated the first edition of CIM Base Camp, an innovative training and conference format launched by CIM with a clear objective: to create a meeting space where professionals from different sectors can share specialized knowledge and stay technically updated.
To launch this initiative, we collaborated with Savills in a cycle of four training sessions dedicated to real estate taxation and aimed at the teams of Valuations, PBSA, Capital Markets (residential and retail), Residential Sales, Strategic Consulting, and Logistics at Savills.
The session was led by Carlos Muñoz, partner at CIM, and Blanca Llopart, Director of CIM’s Tax department. During the day, key aspects of indirect taxation in real estate operations were covered, as well as the implications of Decree 5/2025, of March 25, in the Catalan context.

This first training session of CIM Base Camp confirms the value of collaborative learning spaces among companies and professionals. Initiatives like this strengthen team connections, facilitate knowledge transfer, and allow a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by the current economic, regulatory, and fiscal environment.
We want to highlight the involvement of Elisabet Vaamonde, Associate of Offices Capital Markets at Savills, and of Olga Sarrias, Real Estate Manager at CIM, whose leadership and commitment were key to organizing this training cycle.
CIM Base Camp is presented as a new benchmark in cross-sector training and knowledge transfer, a space designed to learn, share, and grow alongside our partners and clients.
